Directions:
- Cut paper doll, skirt, pantaloons and bouquet pattern
from cardboard or heavy paper.
- Cut a 17" length of lace and gather with needle
and thread to fit bottom of skirt pattern. Glue in place at
gathered edge turning under at ends.
- Cut 9 lengths from Wire-Edge Ombre Ribbon each 17,
15,13, 12, 11, 10, 9, 6, and 4 inches. Starting with 17"
length, gather by pulling wire at light side. (Fold back wire at
other end first, to prevent pulling wire through and out of
ribbon). Gather enough to fit over a row of lace. Glue in
place as with the lace and proceed with each successive length to
waist.

- 1/4" satin to create shoulder straps.
- Gather 8" of lace in center to about 3" and
create shoulder and bodice accent. Glue in place.
- Cover pantaloons pattern with 2 rows of gathered lace
each. Glue to ankles.
- With remaining 10" lace, gather and glue around
bouquet pattern. Fold the 1/4" buttercup and rose pink
satin in half and glue to back of bouquet to form 4 streamers.
Glue roses to center of bouquet.
- Glue skirt to doll.

- Cascade the 6" rose garland down right side of
skirt and glue in place.
-
Make 2 loop bow from 1/4" wide
pink satin and glue at top of rose garland.
- Cover self-stick mounting board with velveteen.
- Pin doll to covered board.
- Glue bouquet in place.
- Make hat with small gathered length of Wire-Edge
Ombre ribbon.
- Glue roses to doll's hat and bodice.
- To protect "Ribbon Lady", mount in a glass
frame for display.
